About the course
In this training, you will learn about cannabis abuse, behavioural and health implications post-consumption. While not common, some people do experience a cannabis use disorder. If you work with customers in a cannabis setting, you must be able to recognize and identify the indicators of cannabis use disorder.
In our cannabis abuse signs training, you will explore the most likely symptoms of a customer who is chemically dependent upon cannabis or who may be experiencing cannabis use disorder. Often, symptoms can be alleviated by taking a very brief break from cannabis use. In the end, you will gain expertise in identifying signs in your customers, voice the warnings and preventive steps, and how to safely advise them.
You will discover a patient’s cannabis dependency, recognize cannabis abuse and impairment.
You will explore the health, behavioural, and bodily effects of cannabis consumption based on usage, genes, body-tolerance, and other environmental factors.
You will learn cannabis associated Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome and driving implications.
You will master signs of cannabis addiction, abuse, and impairment along with guidelines for recreational use of cannabis which includes safely storing cannabis.
